COVID-19 has brought much uncertainty into our lives, but there is one thing dentists want you to be sure of — it is safe to visit the dentist during Covid-19! In fact, it is more important than ever to maintain healthy habits during the Coronavirus pandemic. Here’s why:
Skipping cleanings poses a greater risk. Health experts are encouraging Americans NOT to put off dental cleanings during the pandemic. Delaying routine care can cause more damage to your dental health and your wallet over the long-term. We have a vested interest in your health. My team and I are on the front lines working within inches of your mouths (aka, COVID culprits)! That’s why we are taking meticulous precautions to protect you — we are as concerned about our own health and safety as we are for yours.
We are stellar at being sterile. Proper sterilization has always been our top priority – even before COVID-19 hit. Beyond just good policy, sterilization of dental equipment is absolutely vital for safe treatment and infection control. We have increased our best practices in an abundance of caution during the pandemic.

You’re Safe with Us! My team and I remain hyper vigilant about patient safety. We are taking key precautions, including pre-screening patients for COVID symptoms, administering temperature checks and enforcing mask requirements and social distancing in waiting areas. Disposable protective barriers are in place on dental chairs and other patient touchpoints. We wear level 3 masks at all times and use face shields. Air purifiers in each room of our office contain UV lights that kill 99.9% of bacteria and virus, including COVID, and all rooms and surfaces are thoroughly disinfected in between patient visits.
