In honor of Valentine’s Day, we thought we would share some of Dr. E’s most LOVED dental products and habits… we hope you enjoy this roundup and that you will consider taking these suggestions to heart.
Most LOVED Dental Products:
Sonicare Diamond Clean Toothbrush. It may be a bit of splurge at $199, but 30,000 brush strokes, 5 different brushing modes and its cool design make it one of Dr. E’s favorites!
Johnson & Johnson Waxed- Mint Flavored Floss. It’s a classic that has stood the test of time and this floss always gets the job done!
Waterpik WP-660 Aquarius. Dr. E considers this one of her favorite tools because it expertly removes hidden debris/plaque even after using regular floss and it is officially approved and tested by the American Dental Association.
Closys. Their top-of-the-line mouthwash contains antibacterial, alcohol free, lingering benefits against bad breath. While other mouthwashes tend to be overpowering, Closys has a cool, refreshing, and subtle taste. Prepared Patients. Did you check in for your appointment on time? Did you brush your teeth prior to your appointment? We understand that your time is valuable to you and your dentist wants you to be aware that arriving promptly and brushing your teeth prior to your appointment enables the hygienist to “dive into” your deep cleaning more efficiently and gets you in and out of the dental chair faster!
Honesty. Has it been too long since your last cleaning? Are you on any medications? Do you have any not-so-healthy habits (such as smoking or drinking too many sodas)? Don’t fib to your dentist! The truth will present itself during your dental exam anyways and open communication with your dentist results in more effective treatment.
